Areli's Ohana is a Memorial Account that was set up in honor of our daughter, Areli Villalpando. Areli took her own life on February 15, 2022 at the age of 15. Since this day, we (her family) have made it our mission to spread awareness about Mental Health and Suicide in hopes to save others and their families from having to experience the loss that we did.

Areli was a light in so many people's lives. She is mostly remembered by many for her beautiful smile, extremely caring heart, and passion to helping others. The loss of her life effected not only her family, but also our community. It was a huge shock to everyone who knew her, even her own parents.

We share Areli's story with others to make sure that they know it is ok to not be ok. To know to reach out and talk about how they are feeling. Also, to keep the memory of our daughter alive.

All funds collected for Areli's Ohana are distributed back into our communities. These funds are used to host free movies to the public, art classes, materials for Mental Health Fairs, Scholarships, and now a new Suicide Awareness Walk.

As of this moment we have only concentrated on Bosque County, and Whitney, Tx. As we keep growing we have plans to keep expanding. To reach and help as many people as we can.
